EXHIBITIONS
Rustic Blue holds regular exhibitions of artists that are from all over Australia, and of a variety of skill levels. When no actual exhibition is being held we always have our own art on display as well as the art of internationally award winning printmaker from Sydney Christina Cordero as well as other local Kangaroo Island and South Australian artists.
CURRENT EXHIBITION
Feb 15th to March 18th “Colours of Australia” by SA Artist Roe Gartelmann
Multiple Major Art Award Winner Nationally. Roe's works are big, expressive and modern. The border abstraction. This exhibition has work from the red deserts of Central Australia to the beautiful Kangaroo Island. Some lovely "Still Life" works are included in the exhibition.
FUTURE EXHIBITIONS
WEST END ART PRIZE May 26th to June 12th
An art prize for the students living at the Western End of KI. From painting, jewellery to woodwork, come and see the creations of our future KI Artists. 2010 overall winner Kasey Nott is currently exhibiting work at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat Gallery and at Rustic Blue. She is currently studying art in Adelaide

An artist who loves to paint surrealism and abstracts. Many of his works have been purchased by Southern Ocean Lodge to hang in the breathtaking lodge at Hanson Bay Kangaroo Island. Sonny's last solo exhibition was over three years ago.
